Tony's Story

Say hello to Tony — a bright, spirited 7-year-old with a big personality and an even bigger smile. Tony’s energy is contagious, and he’s always ready to strike a pose or show off a dance move. He dreams of becoming the next big TikTok sensation, and with his confidence and charm, we have no doubt he’ll get there!

Tony is a huge fan of sports and video games — especially when he’s playing alongside his older brothers. Right now, he shares a room with two of them, but big changes are on the horizon! Thanks to a garage conversion, his older brothers will soon have their own space, which means Tony is finally getting something he’s never had before: a room of his very own.

This isn’t just any room makeover — it’s a space where Tony can rest, play, and just be a kid. After all, Tony has faced more in the past year than most kids his age. On December 4, 2024, at just 6 years old, Tony was diagnosed with high-risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Treatment has been a roller coaster ride, filled with ups and downs, brave smiles, and moments that are tough for any child to endure. As Tony himself has said, “I wish I never got sick.” His treatment journey will continue until March 2027, but through it all, his resilience shines.

Despite the challenges, Tony is full of life, laughter, and love. With the help of his amazing family — including five siblings! — he’s navigating this chapter one day at a time.

We’re so excited to begin planning Tony’s dream room through our Savvy Giving by Design – Tampa Chapter. With a tight budget and big hopes, we’re looking for creative ways to give this deserving boy a space that reflects his vibrant personality and offers him a little escape from the everyday stress of treatment.
