Liam

Liam was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic lymphoma just before Christmas in 2020 when he was five years old. He’s been battling cancer for more than 800 days. This sweet boy has had 60 blood transfusions and spent several weeks not just in the hospital but in PICU, again isolated from his family.

Aubrianna

In late 2019, a large tumor was found on Aubriana’s brain and she was diagnosed with a childhood brain cancer called Medulloblastoma. She is overcoming many obstacles due to her paralysis from the tumor.

Nayeli

Nayeli is 12 years old and was born with a partial chromosome deletion of Chromosome #21. To help Nayeli have a beautiful and special place in which she can grow and learn, we are creating a sensory room with whimsical design details and some of her favorite colors.

Alex

Alex was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just 16 months old. At the time his family lived and worked in Ocala, but for the next 3 and a half years endured a treatment schedule that involved travelling to Tampa at least a month for Alex’s protocol. Chemo and a cocktail of drugs that were supposed to heal him, multiple lengthy hospital stays, invasive tests and many tears later they were hopeful for a future without cancer.

Riley

Riley’s Mom wasn’t really concerned when their Well Visit at the pediatrician was delayed slightly in 2020 due to COVID. Riley was healthy, happy and working hard at school and was looking forward to volleyball season.

She was admitted to the hospital, on October 30th and on November 3rd was diagnosed with Pre B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Angel

Angel was born with Esophageal Atresia and Down Syndrome. His family worked hard to get him the best care possible, and as he grew they were hopeful that surgery would provide him with more freedom and a dream that he would be able to eat by himself one day.

Sadly his family's dreams were crushed when Angels surgery to reconstruct his esophagus was not successful. Complications with the surgery caused anoxic brain damage. To say this family has been through a lot, is so inadequate.

Izzy

Izzy was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was just 21 months old. She underwent over two years of chemotherapy and treatment, until October 2013.

Just recently, Izzy was complaining of headaches and frequent tiredness. At what they hoped would be a routine check up, Izzy’s family were told that at 10 years old, she had relapsed.

Remy

Remy was diagnosed just 2 months after his second birthday with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. On what should have been a day for celebration (his Mom’s birthday), the family found themselves at the E.R. with Remy, who was pale and lethargic and highly anemic. They waited two days for results to confirm Leukemia but were immediately admitted for blood transfusions and a barrage of tests.
